compounding habits last a lifetime

We all know that the latte a day habit adds up over time. And we should know that the lunch out a day does so even more.

To keep myself in check from the daily taco and teriyaki outsourcing of my coworkers, I made a simple post-it note. I keep it by my desk.

It shows what $50 would grow to be over 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 years at an optimistic 10 percent interest. It a gentle reminder that todays actions matter and how that habits compound over time.

Five One

Five One. Simple idea to get more done. In a way that helps me actually get stuff done. More often than not the 'to do' list just doesn't create the means to the end. It's too long. Too many items. Where to start?. When to stop. So, Five One...

Five items on Monday,
Carry over more to Tuesday.

Twins Gear: sippy cups

Sippy cups are a no brainer for any parent. For the car, the house, the zoo, or anywere, sippy's can be a must have.

Our guys have three sets at out house and a few more at each grandparents. With handles, without handles, tall cup, short cup, the boys seem to not prefer any particular style. They pay attention more to the contents and we pay more attention to the contents leaking out.

In this category you are one your own. Buy a few BPA-free cups and see which ones work best.
